Maline Casta is a Stockholm based visual artist with a background in stage design. She is interested in play theory, financial systems, site-specificness, social structures, repetition and any theory that offers a way out of the present time. Since 2009 Maline has created performance art as one branch of her practice.
Maline is educated at Tisch School of the Arts in New York, Umeå Universitet and Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm.She currently works as adjunct at the Visual Communication programme at Konstfack. |
