Participants   Program   Writings   Seminar HUMANIMAL HUMANIMAL is an experimental sound performance duo that focuses on the human-animal (non-human) relation through sound & image. The incorporated aesthetics bring attention to the politics and poetics of a less anthropocentric world where the inner animal is unleashed, being aware of its own powerful symbolic nature. By following a deconstruction of identity, the notion of human is challenged. Having no borders, HUMANIMAL communicates beyond human perception. It transports oneself to a higher state of consciousness. HUMANIMAL is Lora Dimova & Ana Gutieszca. Lora Dimova is a transdimensional artist, working in the field of visual and performance art. She is an explorer of non-ordinary states of consciousness, inner & outer space travelling, teleportation and transcendence towards other possibilities of existence. Ana Gutieszca is a visual & sound artist. She sculpts the unfathomable boundaries of drawing in time and space through the creation of analog and digital instruments, the sonification of graphite and its deconstruction into performance art.
